Rideaway: Where Sports Instructors Meet Outdoor Enthusiasts
On this page

We’ve spent more weekends on mountain trails and ski slopes than we can even count. We are Daniel and Łukasz, and when we aren't writing code or polishing pixels at Rideaway, you’ll likely find us somewhere between the Beskids and the Alps. Most likely, we’re arguing over the best line on a descent or where to find the best food after a full day of skiing or MTB riding.

Why we built a marketplace for sports instructors

Rideaway wasn't born in a boardroom. It started with pure frustration during our own trips. Picture this: you’re in Austria, your kid wants to learn snowboarding, and you spend an hour on German websites. You’re making awkward calls in broken English, trying to find a Polish-speaking instructor who knows how to handle a 5-year-old on a board. It is stressful, time-consuming, and kills the vibe.

On the other hand, we see local legends at skateparks or on secret MTB trails who are incredible at what they do. They teach friends for fun or a bit of extra cash, but they are "invisible" because they don't have a website or a marketing budget. They are amazing sports instructors who just aren't on the grid.

We decided to work on that. We want finding the right sports instructor to feel less like detective work and more like a clear first step.

How Rideaway helps both students and coaches

We are building the tool we wished we had for years: one that can work for a family planning a ski trip in Austria, a rider looking for MTB coaching in the Beskids, a school that wants a cleaner booking flow, or an adaptive athlete trying to understand who has the right equipment and experience.

Why book your next lesson through Rideaway?

  • Find hidden gems: Discover passionate instructors who are often buried in local networks.
  • No language barriers: Need a Polish-speaking ski instructor in Italy or Austria? The platform should make language visible before the first message.
  • Sports with real detail: Skiing, snowboarding, adaptive sports, and MTB coaching need more than a generic category name.

How we help instructors earn from their passion

  • Get visible without becoming a marketing department: You should not need a full website just to explain what you teach.
  • Clearer instructor profiles: Sport, level, language, equipment, location, and trust signals should be easier to show.
  • Focus on the lesson: Rideaway is being designed to reduce the admin around coaching and training on slopes, trails, courts, and water.

What Rideaway should answer instantly

The ideal search is not just "ski instructor near me." It should answer the questions people actually ask before a trip: Who teaches children? Who speaks Polish, English, or German? Who has adaptive equipment? Who can help a complete beginner on day one, and who can coach an advanced rider before a race? That is why Rideaway profiles are designed around sport, location, language, level, availability, and trust signals instead of generic listings.

Built by riders, for riders

Rideaway isn’t just another corporate startup. We both spend our time actively on two wheels and on the slopes. Every day in the powder, every new trail, and every mountain summit has shaped who we are.

We remember the kind of people who make sport click: the local rider who explains a trail better than any map, the snowboard instructor who finally makes edge control feel obvious, the patient coach who helps a child enjoy the first lesson instead of fear it. These people are often nearly impossible to find online. We want hidden teachers like that to meet students without so much friction.

Welcome to Rideaway. Let’s find some teachers and hit the trails. Start with the Rideaway waitlist, or read how to become an instructor without becoming a business.
